Social responsibility

As befitting its presence and reputation, Mammut endeavours to participate in the realisation of various social initiatives.

In keeping with our policies of social support, we supported the rehabilitation programme of Retek Street, Fény Street and Lövőház Street, and we supported the erection of the “Martyr” monument, as well as that of the 1956 monument in front of the shopping centre. We participated in the creation of the Foundation for the Future of the Homeless, which aims to improve the living conditions of the homeless in the district. Thanks to that Foundation, the first daytime shelter for the homeless in the Second District was opened in January 2005. We regularly support various institutions in the district, including the Foundation for Public Safety in the Second District.

Through our sponsorship activities, we contribute to events such as children’s programmes and races, which bring colour to the local community. We have been a steady supporter of Hungary’s top athletes; the Szalay-Dakar Team and Pacotti Motorsport prepare for their races with the help of Mammut.
